Interview for winners!

■2017 2nd Prize Giorgio Susana (Italia)
Jesu dulcedo cordium

1.How did you know this competition? and what motivated you to apply?
I met this competition on the web. I was looking for an international composition competition and Japan attracted me in this sense because I was there as a pianist several times for concerts but I wanted to know the choral world and make myself known as a composer. The site, of ICCJ, is well done, clear in the mode of participation and it was very easy to sign up.

2.How did you feel when you won the competition?
It was an immense joy. I did not think I would receive such an important prize in an international competition and especially in Japan, where music, for japanese people, is particularly important and Japanese are susceptible for the music.

3.How did you feel when your piece was firstly premierd by the Metropolitan chorus of Tokyo?
The Metropolitan Chorus perfectly interpreted my musical intention. I was moved to hear my music so well interpreted and with a perfect Latin diction!

4.Please send message for following applicants.
Take part to this very important competition, if you have new musical ideas, if you love choral music and if you think you are a capable composer!
