・How did you feel when you heard the announcement of the result and the performance on Youtube?
The build-up to the announcement was exciting. I genuinely had no idea I had been awarded 2nd prize until I saw my name appear on the screen. It was a great feeling!

・Why did you apply for this competition?(What motivated you to apply?)
I looked at the work of past winners on the ICCC Japan website and was impressed by the high standard and quality of entries. It also looked like a well-organised competition.

Absolutely go for it and send in your composition entries. The judging process is extremely clear and the judges themselves are leading figures in choral composition. You never know: you may even get an opportunity to have your composition published.
